So, this'll be the spitball thread. The powers that be have stated that this is an ongoing collaborative project. Where does everyone else think they're going with this? What's the next challenge? Thoughts????

Given what was said about how "this is our Holders Series" and "this is our SCP Foundation", I would imagine that the overarching goal was to have a unified world of fiction through which other writers outside of TooSpooky can reference and evolve the events or artifacts originally mentioned. Sort of a grab bag of established premises for inspiration or ARG projects. At least, that was how I always figured it would go, anyway. Like a shortcut to making viral / icon pasta.

As far as the hosts themselves go, they'll have stories fo' days...and that's always a plus.

...speaking of ARG projects, though...wouldn't it be a trip if Unit 70 turned out to be nothing at all? Like, if DP just dangled that carrot on a string to get people engaged, then wrote it as a supplemental story in the world these 132 people have established.
I don't think that's what's going on. He may be an avowed liar, but I don't think he's that overtly manipulative...not really, anyway.
I just feel like there might be something else going on with Unit 70...some real Warehouse 13 stuff...but I might just be paranoid.

I could see there being another collaboration, though. Kind of like how we were given certain materials to include with this, the next one might be "Now write a story based on the events of Unit Number __ , and reference your original story".
That'd be pretty cool.

[Edit--I don't mean any disrespect by using the term 'liar'. He's said multiple times that lying and stealing is great for authors, and I do generally agree. Just wanted to clear that up. I respect the hell out of all this, and didn't want to give the wrong impression.]

Nightmares can be such flimsy things with such voracious appetites. Turn them away once and they can starve.

I kind of hope that DP doesn't involve anything supernatural or otherworldly to our universe, which is weird for me, because that's my wheelhouse. I think our collaborative effort would be more impactful and horrific if most of our universe became true to life horror.
