Mkay. So you know that feeling you get when you send something in as a final draft? The one that makes your skin crawl and your eyes twitch and you get a little jumpy and your hands start to shake like they're itching to type out something? Where your brain has suddenly devised all of these wonderful and fantastic ideas and scenarios to add in to your piece that would make it absolutely 200% perfect? That hell?

I'VE BEEN THERE FOR THE PAST THREE DAYS AND I AM GOING BATSHIT INSANE BECAUSE THERE IS LITERALLY NOTHING I CAN DO ANYMORE. LIKE, THANKS BRAIN FOR DECIDING AFTER THE FACT WAS THE PERFECT TIME TO DO YOUR FUCKING JOB!!!!

ugh, end rant. And now to continue with my descent into true insanity.

Anyone else wondering if the new deadline of "December 8th at midnight, Eastern Standard Time" meant the beginning of the 8th or the end of the 8th?
I mean...I would hear that as meaning about an hour ago...but some people might see that as being a duplicitous term.

Good luck out there. I hope they're not too strict with that deadline.
Nightmares can be such flimsy things with such voracious appetites. Turn them away once and they can starve.

I have the midnight trouble all the time. I stopped outside a Starbucks parking lot on my way home from work last night in order to send it in just in case.

As for the brain nonfunction, I can tell you I was in such a rush to give it one more look that I didn't realize until I pressed send that I'd missspelled my narrators name at the end. Oy. Thanks brain.

But at least we've all been panicking together right? Right?

Now we've got to panic over the judges critiques...

Show of appendages, who's going to make someone else listen to that and just relay the information afterwards?

I'm proud of my work, but I wish I could say that's good enough. Gotta get other people's approval so I can value my self worth.
