What are the crew's thoughts on Squidward's Suicide? Why don't you take a cave dive and listen?  ;)

I think that the first steps toward a genre have the very real risk of becoming "cliché" because everyone then follows them. XD

Oh yeah, this story began a ton of cliches. Most notably hyper-realistic blood and bleeding eyes which are also hyper-realistic.

So, with this pasta at least, I never found the "hyper-realistic" thing all that bad because every time they said that I was imagining the creepy "real life" animations that they do sometimes on the Spongebob show. I always felt like this is what they were trying to describe. I could be wrong and it's still not a great story, but that part I never had a real issue with.

Yeah, I hear ya. Hyper-realism is such a infamous term in creepypasta nowadays. There's also the whole Photo-Realistic vs. Hyper-Realistic argument and which one should have been used for this story. Personally, I found it a little over the top.
